Point Shoot: Park life

19 May 2017

Dear friend,

Welcome to my Photo series #PointShoot. I love capturing the ordinary moments and special times with my camera, looking at our life through a lens gives me a clearer focus.

This week's Point Shoot is Park life. We have been coming to this park since my big lad was a baby as an international baby group was held here every Wednesday. This group and one other was a life line for me at a very very difficult time. I was a new mum, in a new country, with a husband working away 4 days a week. I felt very alone. This group meant I got out of the house and talked to other people and actually made friends.

I love coming here and it is amazing to see how much my big lad has progressed from the toddler who was frightened to pick his feet off the floor and negotiate stairs to the boy traversing the tightrope bridge. Amazing!

Now I'll let my photos do the talking...
