Week in Photos #3

9 October 2017

Dear Friend,

Welcome to my Photo series #PointShoot. A look back at our week in photos. I love capturing the ordinary moments and special times with my camera, looking at our life through a lens gives me a clearer focus.

The week started with a bump as big lad appeared in my room early on Monday morning complaining of diarrhoea and stomachache. I decided to keep him off school (just in case). Fortunately it was just a 24 hour thing.

The following day I had a meeting at school. We are so lucky to have a really supportive head who always listens and acts on big lad's issues. Tuesday afternoon was also productive as I met with my lovely colleague and we did our group planning.

On Thursday the boys and I were free (thanks to the national teachers strike) and after a lazy morning we went bowling. It wasn’t as fun as I’d hoped as we were next to a ladies bowling club who kept freaking out if we touched their bowls. I did get my fierce mummy bear face on at one point but the boys enjoyed it!

Friday was a work day. After work we took the boys to get their hair cut and then we snuggled up on the sofa and watched Grown ups 2, as the weather was really bad!

Saturday was a bit of a washout with torrential rain, football, playdates etc But finished well with a touch of Strictly. I didn't feel too good on Sunday (stress is taking its toll) but we popped into Leiden to take a look at the international Market and have a walk around. The sun was shining and it was a lovely day to capture the beauty of the city, I was glad I had taken my camera along.

I hope you had a great week!
