Week in Photos #5

23 October 2017

Dear Friend,

Welcome to my Photo series #PointShoot. A look back at our week in photos. I love capturing the ordinary moments and special times with my camera, looking at our life through a lens gives me a clearer focus.

We have been on half term holidays this week and we have had a week jam packed with travel, family, friends, beautiful places and adventures.

First we went to the UK to visit my family. I love sharing my family history with the boys and we took the opportunity to visit our favourite haunts, Whitby, Saltburn and Great Ayton as well as treating the little man to an amazing, dream come true morning where he got to be a Zoo Keeper.

We returned home and made the most of the beautiful weather by having a BBQ with our friends. The following day we set off for Texel an island in the North of Holland. It has the most beautiful nature and is totally unspoiled.

We spent the night on Texel in a trekkers hut at De Krim. It was very basic but cosy and warm and we had fun snuggled together, although I wasn't so impressed when I did have a trek to the toilet facilities. The wet weather didn't dampen our spirits and we made the most of our time away together. The boys loved the swimming pool and I loved taking photos of the lighthouse and of them being crazy.

It has been a fantastic, super fast, fun filled week!
